These cans modified are definitely the best bang for the buck.
These are awesome headphones when modified. These cans from the factory are mediocre at best.
I added the $17 headband pad, and a set of $20 Brainwavz HM5 pleather ear pads. The comfort and sound stage now equal headphones that cost several hundred more.

Shure SR440's are excellent headphones!
Excellent product - these are 1st class professional level headphones. The best bang for the buck. We are a professional recording studio and go through 40 set of headphones each year - the Shure SR440 sound great and take the wear and tear very well.

If you need good, inexpensive headphones, this is your product.
Very nice headphones. I snagged a very lightly used pair for 56 bucks (i love ebay)
These are very high quality. Very comfortable, and they sound amazing. The only thing i don't like is the coiled cord. But that's just personal preference. I would suggest these to anyone looking for well priced high quality headphones.
