excellent for drummer
I tried these in ear monitors at practice once, then at a gig 3 days later, and was blown away by how much noise they blocked out. The sound man had to turn up my mic volume for the front of house, because i was hearing so well that i did not have to push vocals so hard. At the end of the night, I still had my hearing(ears were not ringing), and a voice. I loved the fit, although they were a little painfull after an hour and a half set, but fine for the first 2 hour long sets. I combined them with a head phone controller that hooked on my belt (behringer) that is battey operated, and accepts xlr cables for signal. awesome for under $150 dollars.
