HTC's signature metal body makes a repeated appearance on the new One M9 and it looks absolutely fantastic. The two-tone, two-finish design adds an extra bit of flare to the well-crafted, premium build, making this phone one of the most attractive on the market today.

HTC is known for its elegant aluminum designs — the One M9's dual forward-facing speakers and sleek body give it a unique look and feel. Performance is great, although the camera doesn't measure up to those on LG and Samsung phones. Nevertheless, HTC...

A top-shelf phone with a few hang-ups For the most part, the HTC One M9 performs as well as its elegant build—and its price tag—would lead you to believe. The only caveats are its somewhat limited battery life and a camera that isn't quite as good...

HTC One M9 The HTC One M9 features more significant changes on the inside than its slight external tweaks suggest. It would be a shame if the stagnant design causes potential buyers to look elsewhere, because the HTC One M9's display, software, and...

While some of this was probably written up by blogs in the weeks preceding the release of the HTC One M9 I think I've gotten a fairly good feel for the phone at a month of solid use as my primary phone.First off, some context for the review. I've...

HTC is a company that's had a mixed big of fortunes. While it's received high critical praise on several occasions, it's also struggled to combat declining sales and shrinking profit margins. HTC found a vein of success when it introduced the HTC One M7...

Update: The HTC One M9's camera has received a damning report card from DxOMark , with scores stating it performs worse than 2011's iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy S3... and also last year's Amazon Firephone. DxOMark cited daylight, flash images and...

Announced in March 2015, the One M9 is the latest update for the HTC One series, replacing the highly-respected One M8. It's more evolutionary than revolutionary, though, with a design that looks very much like its predecessor. It does feature an...

In Review: HTC One M9. Test model courtesy of HTC Germany The HTC One M9 does unfortunately lack any real innovations, but the Taiwanese manufacturer can improve some aspects, so the M9 is once again a very good smartphone. The high-resolution SLCD3...

By Absolute Gadget on May 08, 2015 86

The main qualms we had with the M8 were the camera, the over-bearing software and the slightly sharp build. HTC hasn't really fixed any of these, aside from make it slightly curvier. We had no problems with the speed last year, yet the biggest upgrade...

By IGN on May 04, 2015 85

It can be difficult to choose the HTC One M9 over one from Samsung, LG, or even Apple. This particular line of flagship phones is no longer one of the only phones that both look and feel great, and advancements to its camera still lag behind other options. Without a standout feature, this handset definitely has strong competition out there.

Mobile World Congress is where most flagship devices get announced every year, and 2015 was no different. This year HTC arrived with an upgrade to their popular M8 phone which hopefully filled in the few missing pieces to make this the best phone they...

The HTC One M9 is a curious smartphone; on the one hand, HTC have stuck to the design they know that's been very well received and updated it with the latest specs but on the other hand, HTC have kept to the same design without really innovating...

The HTC One M9 has now landed, making it the latest flagship phone from the Taiwanese manufacturer. While it doesn't look too different from its predecessors, it's still a sleek and stylish phone that can go toe-to-toe with the iPhone 6 and Samsung...

It’s clear that the HTC One M9 is an outstanding smartphone. As the first major release of 2015, HTC has a natural advantage in getting its product onto the market unchallenged. Right now, the phone is unassailable. Still, we can’t shake the feeling...

The HTC One M9 isn't a bad smartphone. It's elegant, well-built and doesn't have any major problems. That said, what does the M9 offer to convince an M8 owner—or anyone else, for that matter—to part with their cash? On paper: raw, unadulterated power and...

By whistleout.com.au on April 02, 2015 80

The HTC One M9 is an odd device. On paper it's barely an upgrade over the M8. In press photos it's physically almost identical, it has the same screen and resolution, even the new camera offers the same lacklustre experience. All this being said,...
