Picture is great after tweaking
The picture on factory settings is bluish and dark to my eye; tweaking the picture controls to warmer and brighter settings was necessary. Now the picture is amazing, with true color and good picure in dark interiors scenes as well as outdoor scenes.
As for it not being a "smart" TV, I already have a roku or I can connect a laptop via HDMI cable. Dongles from other services will also plug right into the side HDMI port. Paying an extra 100 dollars for a TV with a Wifi tuner already on board is not really necessary.
The speakers are bretty basic. If you use home theater technology you won't care. Vizio also makes a 29" sound bar that you can buy for 80 bucks that has impressed some audiophiles who reviewed it.
Don't forget to peel the clear plastic protective coating off the feet before you attatch them with the included two philips head screws each.
