The list of engendered species is retrieved from the Critically Endangered, Endangered and Vulnerable lists from http://a-z-animals.com/, and the list of non-endenegered species is retrieved from the Least Concern list of species from  http://a-z-animals.com/. Each animal in the dataset was linked to the corresponding resource in DBpedia based on the animal's name.
