Dillsburg Earthquake Swarm

*********************************************
The first report on the Dillsburg earthquake swarm has been released.  This report is the summary of the findings from the Columbia University portables that were in the area October-December, 2008.  Data is still being complied from portables placed last summer in the area.  Jeri Jones is looking at a connection between the groundwater, rainfall and the tremors.  If you feel any tremors, please contact him as you have in the past.  Tracking these tremors is still important, especially since he is correlating them with rainfall.

The website to read the report is www.dcnr.state.pa.us/topogeo/openfile/dillsburg.aspx.

Any questions or to report tremors, please contact:
Jeri L. Jones

Carroll Township, York County, Swine Flu Information

The H1N1 virus is spreading within the US.  So, health officials are recommending that you; 1) wash your hands frequently; 2) cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze.  It is also a good idea to carry and use a hand sanitizing liquid when in public.
If you or a family member have any of these symptoms:  fever over 100 degrees F, headache, body aches, vomiting or diarrhea, you should call your doctor immediately and not go out or contact any one outside your direct family.
