DescriptionA Caterham focused motorsport team is looking for additional race weekend staff for data analysis and number two mechanic roles.
We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and technically competent staff who can work to high quality levels at the Caterham Championship race weekends (seven weekends).
Two roles are available:
1) Data Acquisition Junior/Graduate engineer role
At the Caterham race weekends we provide a network based data acquisition service that includes both video and data.
We have a role for a trainee data specialist for our race weekends. Applicants need to be PC literate and familiar with the software and hardware side of motorsport data logging systems. Experience with Stack and Racelogic Video Vbox systems would be advantageous.
This role will suit someone looking for a career in this area. Last year's job-holder used this part time experience to gain a full time job with a leading UK Motorsport team.
2) Number Two Mechanic - Race weekend's only
We are looking for an individual with previous experience of national level Motorsport. e.g. Caterham, Ginetta, Formula Ford or Formula Renault. However, specific Caterham experience would be advantageous.
As part of the dpr quality assurance process relevant on-job training will be provided. An HGV or trailer licence will be an advantage.
