Existing DealDigs Members

I already have a DealDigs account, do I need to sign up a new account?: No. If you are existing DealDigs member, you can just log onto the new system by using your existing user name and password.

OK. That sounds good. But how about my exising cash back balance?: Your old cash back account has been converted into our new points system. Your cash back amount balance has been converted into new DealDigs Point at the rate of 100 PTS/$. For instance, if you have $10 cash back available in your old accout, you will see a 1000 PTS balance with your new account. You can convert these 1000 PTS into $10 PayPal Cash or Amazon gift card.

I have used my e-mail as my DealDigs user name with the old system, but I was asked to change user name when I logged into the new system, why?: To protect our members' benefit and privacy, we have designed our new system specially not to use e-mail as user name. If your old user name is your e-mail address, you will have to choose a new user name before you can log onto the new system. Rest assured that this will not affect anything else including your cash back account.

Can I still earn cash back with the new system?: Yes, absolutely. You will still be able to earn equivalent cash back amount in the format of DealDigs PTS with the points system . The new points system will allow you to earn cash back reward in a much easier and quicker way. You have more ways to earn rewards PTS, such as sharing a deal with friends at Facebook or Twitter.

General Information

What are DealDigs PTS?: DealDigs PTS(Points) is just like the real cash. You can transfer your DealDigs Points to "cash" via PayPal or merchant gift card at your choice. DealDigs Points can be earned by shopping through DealDigs Offers, submitting hot deals to DealDigs, sharing deals and coupons with friends and many other ways. DealDigs Points never expire.

How do I see how many DealDigs PTS I Have?: You can see your life-time DealDigs PTS on the top right corner after you log into your DealDigs account. You can review your DealDigs PTS Statement by clicking Points Statement located under My Points.

What does 5X PTS, 10X PTSmean?: Our Points program allows you to earn multiple DealDgis PTS per dollar spent. So 5X PTS or 15X PTS offers mean that you will earn 5 or 15 DealDigs PTS respectively for every dollar you spend. For instance, if you were to spend $100 at a merchant / retailer where the DealDigs Offer is 5X PTS, you will earn 500 PTS for that transaction.

How long will it take for DealDigs PTS to post to my account?

DealDigs PTS will post to your account as soon as we receive your order confirmation from the merchant. Some merchants are faster than others. It can take up to 21 days from your date of purchase for the merchant to confirm your order.

DealDigs PTS will show on your Points Statement as "Pending" for certain days in order to allow time for a return or exchange. The days of pending status is between 7 and 90 days depending on a merchant's return poloicy. Once the status of DealDigs PTS is change to "Earned", you will be able to redeem them for cash or merchant gift card.

If it has been more than 21 days from your date of purchase and your DealDigs PTS have not posted to your account, please use the Submit Support Ticket Link Under My Click History to send us an inquiry.

What happens to my DealDigs PTS if I make a return or exchange?: If you return your entire order, your DealDigs PTS will be recalled.If you return part of your order, the DealDigs PTS you earned for the returned item(s) will be recalled.

Do DealDigs PTS expire?: DealDigs PTS do not expire.

How many PTS can I earn for each deal that I have posted at DealDigs.com?: Theoretically there is no limit. But it depends on two factors:
1) The PTS percent that a store pays you : every store has a different PTS percentage. To view the details, you can go to Stores page to view the details.
2) How hot the deal is: If you have posted a very hot deal, there will be many members to click your deal and place an order.
Here's an example:
Let's say you post a deal for Garmin NUVI 650 GPS for $300 from store A and the cash back you receive for the post is 10X PTS. For each sale, the PTS you can get is $300 x 10X PTS = 3000 PTS. So, if there are 100 members make the purchase through the link you posted, the total PTS you can earn is 3000 * 100 = 300,000!

OK, that sounds really great! But do I need to sign up any affiliate program in order to earn PTS?: No, you don't need to sign up for any account or join any programs in order to earn cash back when you shop online or post deals at DealDigs. We have signed agreement with our merchants to get these commissions for you. All you need to do is to shop through DealDigs or post the best deals you can find.

Do I need to sign up for two accounts in order to earn DealDigs PTS when I shop through DealDigs and post a hot deal at DealDigs?: No, you don't need to sign up for two accounts. You only need to sign up on one account! All cash back you earn from shopping online or posting deals is consolidated into one account.

How do I earn DealDigs PTS when I shop through DealDigs?: Simply make qualifying online purchases from participating stores in the cash back & coupons section of our site. Here's how it works:

1. If the product you want to buy is a hot deal posted by other members:
1) Login your DealDigs account.
2) Click on the Click here to Buy link on Deal Summary or Deal Detail page, or click Deal Title link on Deal Detail page.
3) Complete your purchase in the open browser window.

2. If the product you want to buy is not a hot deal posted by other members:
1) Login your DealDigs account.
2) Click on Stores tab.
3) Select merchant you want to shop.
4) Complete purchase in open browser window.
On coupons page, you'll also see available coupons from some merchants. If a cash back rate is not listed, the merchant does not participate in the Cash Back program but may still provide special offers.

How do I earn DealDigs PTS when I post a deal at DealDigs?: Posting a deal and earning DealDigs' Cash Back is easy to do.
1) Login your DealDigs account.
2) Click Submit a new deal tab.
3) Copy and past the original URL of the deal.
E.g.: http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=204451044
4) In the next page, enter the deal title, merchant name, category, original price, current price and other optional information if applicable.
5) Review and sumit your deal.
If the merchant you have selected particiapates our points program, you will automatically earn up to 30X PTS for every purchase that other members make. There is no limit.

Why isn't DealDigs PTS offered for all merchants?: For the most part, we make Cash Back available whenever it's valuable to our Members. Not offering cash back is most often due to a merchant's policy not to participate in such incentive programs or their reporting procedures are not sufficient for the needs of our program.

Can I buy directly from the merchant and still earn DealDigs PTS? What about price-matches?: No. If you deal with the merchant in-person, on the phone or without DealDigs PTS & coupons link on-line, then you will not receive PTS. Please note that if you call the merchant directly to change an order, your PTS may be cancelled. Also if you request a price-match from the retailer this cancels your DealDigs order and places a new order not through DealDigs. As a result, you will not earn DealDigs PTS

What is DealDigs Tracking Number?: The DealDigs Tracking Number lets you know your click is being tracked! It verifies that you clicked a link on Stores page or a link on deal detail page to get to one of our merchants, and gives you a number to refer to in case you need to ask us a question about the corresponding purchase. Every DealDigs Tracking Number will be recorded to your account page for your future reference. You can view your tracking number on the My Click History page.

What happens to my DealDigs PTS if I make a return or exchange?: If you return your entire order, your DealDigs PTS will be recalled.If you return part of your order, the DealDigs PTS you earned for the returned item(s) will be recalled.

Redeeming DealDigs PTS

How do I redeem DealDigs PTS?: There are two ways to redeem your DealDigs PTS.
1. PayPal Cash: You can convert your DealDigs PTS into cash by using PayPal based on certain exchange rate. The exchange rate is determined by your DealDigs level and PTS balance. DealDigs.com will process your PayPal request within 2-3 business days.
2. Amazon Gift Card: To convert your points to an Amazon Gift Card, you must have at least 2500 PTS. You can burn your points on an Amazon Gift Card by clicking on Amazon Gift Card on the Redeem Points page.

How long will it take to pay me once I have requested payment?: Cash Back payments are typically processed weekly.

Do DealDigs PTS expire?: DealDigs PTS do not expire.
