Are 1jz flywheel bolts and 7m flywheel bolts the same?

(searched flywheel bolts, nothing answered my question)

Pulled my transmission (r154) this morning, and while waiting for my clutch to come in, I sent my flywheel out to be machined. I also quickly learned that toyota flywheel bolts are one time use, unlike my old 240.

Anyways, driftmotion has the bolts, however the car is sitting in my bay at work, and I need them sooner rather than later. Are 7m flywheel bolts the same? They both need a 14mm 12 point socket, so I was wondering if the bolts were the same? Just 8 instead of 6 bolts? (My engine is a 1jz-gte if that helps at all.)

If anyone has this info, please let me know asap !
Thanks !

Who told you they are one-time use bolts?

While I do think it's generally a good idea to replace them, simply because it's good insurance, Toyota does not say they need to be replaced every time.

I don't have the thread pitch/size information handy right now, but from what I remember, 1JZ and 7M bolts are different.

The threads on the bolts were a pretty good indicator. They were stretched.

Alright, looks like I'll have to go with 87 corolla gts flywheel bolts then. Thanks.
