About Imani Beach Lodge

Address: p.o.box 3248, Zanzibar, Tanzania
The Imani--with only seven rooms--a unique hotel in the midst of a tropical garden with palms, banana trees, fragrant flowering plants, and passion fruit, where man and nature join in harmony.

Run by a young english couple and a dozen friendly staff to help satisfy your every need. Experience the wonder of 1001 Nights, sip a cocktail straight out of a coconut, nibble delectable seafood, or just relax on our beach.

You look out on the Indian Ocean from your own beach and see dhows sailing by as they have for centuries. Then hear the sounds of a bush-baby calling its mate.

Paradise costs less than you think.

We had a fantastic stay at Imani. The staff and management were all extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful and made us feel at home. The food was also really good here. It is located in Bububu, which was not the best beach but still very beautiful and I liked it because it was removed from tourist strips and we got to observe \"real\" local village life around us. My only suggestion for improvement is that they get a machine to process visa payments, since getting a pile of cash to pay th Calista, from Canada ~ 1st Aug 2011
